I'm Disha
Founder & Head Trainer
I was about 13 years old when I discovered my passion for dance. Ever since I have been striving to incorporate it into everything I do. When I started exploring the world of Zumba I knew this was my calling. What started as grooving to a few indoor beats soon became a thirst for fitness, wellness, and an enhanced way of living.

My Journey
Although a post-graduate in Finance, I founded ‘The DMK Company’ to continue my fitness journey and to pursue my love for movement and body confidence. I dedicated my time to widening my knowledge base while helping others achieve their body goals. My financial background helped me with my entrepreneurial spirit. From there, it was only a hop, skip and jump to 3500+ workout sessions, 800+ students, and 200+ fitness events and to receiving local and national recognition. We even managed to inaugurate our own ‘The DMK’ studio!


The DMK company now caters to fitness (including Zumba and complete body workouts), mindset, health & lifestyle to encourage the ‘better self’ within you. We believe that finding self-love and feeling comfortable in your skin is as important as fulfilling your body goals. Being over-restrictive or following fast-weight loss measures mostly never works and isn’t suitable for the long run. At ‘The DMK’ we promote uniqueness and body positivity. Every body is different and deserves exclusive care.

What do we offer?

Fitness
We at “TheDMK” believe that fitness does not entail a merciless workout routine targeted towards a weight loss goal or a diet that’s not fulfilling your nutritive needs. There is no one right answer to achieving fitness. What is fit for one person might not be fit for another. We maintain that every individual is unique and requires an exclusively catered workout plan. Which is why every fitness journey differs from one person to another.
The 24 days challenge is an amalgamation of zumba, meditation, cardio, mindfulness, body weight training, nutrition guidelines and most importantly, tons of fun. It is the ultimate fitness plan designed with every body in mind. It is the perfect gateway into a fit mindset and lifestyle, and essentially, finding out what works for you!

Nutrition
Our nutritive guidelines combine health with body type and devise a unique plan for each person. We do not believe in fad diets or over-restrictive plans. Our aim is all-round nutrition and catering to client-specific needs.

Zumba
We aim to achieve a balance between life and fitness by introducing healthier ways of living into your everyday lives that stay with you habitually in the long run. Fitness requires perseverance and incorporation. It is not a journey, it is a lifestyle.
